RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installing, configuring and maintaining of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining desktop, laptops systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Setting up accounts for new users
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

• Experience in maintaining the Biometric machine & its software.
• Regular backup of server data on a backup device.
• Periodical maintenance of laptops, PCs, printers, scanners, & network.
• Coordination with the service provider to have uninterrupted services at the Unit.
• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science

• Experience: Overall 2+ years of experience
• Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage
